NOVA is a non-governmental organisation that has been working in the Education area for more than 30 years. Today, in many places of Brazil, accumulative experience and outcomes qualify NOVA to implement, provide consultancy and evaluate public policies and initiatives in Education, articulated with social movements, governments, groups and institutions from civil society.

Our mission is to propel the production and ownership of knowledge to strengthen the participation of diverse social groups in the construction process of a substantial, plural and egalitarian democracy.

Produce knowledge about the social reality to stimulate the critical thinking and the springing up of transforming ideas and proposals.

Share the produced knowledge with different social groups to provide them with better-qualified and efficient work methods.

Contribute to a wide public debate that strengthens the collective work and alliances between institutions, in the perspective of the egalitarian and plural construction of the Brazilian society.
